Sonya brings close to 40 years of insurance industry experience, with a strong focus on marine risk and commercial insurance placements. Over the past eight years, she has been instrumental in expanding Coverforce’s marine portfolio and building lasting relationships across the industry. She is recognised for her deep understanding of the marine sector and her ability to deliver tailored insurance solutions for marinas, vessel operators, and marine businesses throughout Australia.
Peter Bellingham

Peter brings over 30 years of personal and business experience in the marine industry, with a strong focus on vessel operations, marina management, and marine trades. He has worked with leading marine businesses throughout Australia, delivering tailored insurance solutions and practical guidance. Peter combines hands-on industry knowledge with a deep understanding of the risks marine operators face, helping clients protect their assets, staff, and operations.

Steve is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute and a graduate in Maritime Logistics Management, specialising in cargo and marine logistics insurance. With more than 30 years’ experience, he has built a strong reputation for delivering practical, tailored solutions to businesses across the freight, marine, and logistics sectors. He combines technical expertise with an in-depth understanding of industry risks, helping clients protect their assets, operations, and staff. Steve’s hands-on approach and commitment to service make him a trusted advisor in the marine and transport industry.
